Dr. Bramsons research is focused on developing methods to direct cancer patients immune systems to attack their tumors. To this end, Dr. Bramson and his team have created methods to re-educate immune cells in a petri dish and train the immune cells to destroy tumors. Since the cancer patients immune system is often rendered poorly functional due to repeated courses of chemotherapy and radiation treatment, the methods developed by the Bramson lab also enhance the function of the immune cells and increase their potency as tumor killers.
