NCI is a member of the Ovarian Cancer Association Consortium, currently coordinated by consortium members from Duke University in the U.S., Cambridge University in the United Kingdom, and the Queensland Institute of Medical Research in Australia. This consortium includes investigators from the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe (United Kingdom, Poland, Denmark, and Finland). Its mission is to identify susceptibility genes, which predispose to the development of ovarian cancer, by coordinating analyses and pooling data from different studies. Genetic and risk factor analyses are ongoing. More information about this consortium may be found on the website, http://www.srl.cam.ac.uk/consortia/ocac/index.html.
