We recently conducted a genome-wide RNAi screen in Drosophila intestine and testis stem cells and identified a number (~100) new genes that regulate fates of the stem cells. Dr. Lin has many students and postdoctal fellows. About 2/3 of these new genes will be further characterize in Dr. Lin's lab on collaboration bases.
