This collaboration contributes to the Lymphoma/Leukemia Molecular Profiling Project that is aims to develop a molecular framework for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of lymphomas and leukemias. This international collaboration has used gene expression profiling to define new molecular subgroups of diffuse large B cell lymphoma, developed molecular predictors of survival in diffuse large B cell lymphoma, mantle cell lymphoma and follicular lymphoma, and developed a molecular diagnosis of Burkitt lymphoma that accurately distinguishes it from diffuse large B cell lymphoma.
