NCI initiated a pooled international analysis of radiation-related brain tumors to better understand possible differences in radiation sensitivity by tumor type, age at exposure, sex and expression of excess risk over time. For some studies, it also will be possible to evaluate joint effects of radiation treatment and chemotherapy.
