A Molecular Epidemiology Study of Genotoxicity among Workers Exposed to Diesel Exhaust

NCI is collaborating with the China CDC in Beijing to conduct a molecular epidemiology study of workers exposed to diesel exhaust to study potential mechanisms of action associated with diesel exhaust carcinogenesis. Factories will be studied in Chaoyang, China. Biological markers will be measured in sputum, nasal and buccal cells, and blood and urine. The field phase of the study is taking place in March 2013.
